Not only have the RSPCA recently admitted to shooting the ten German Shepherds with a bolt pistol they have admitted destroying another 65 dogs by the same method in the last year.

These actions have generated two petitions on the No. 10 Petition the Prime Minister site which ask for a ban on the use of bolt guns on domestic pets.
You can only sign these petitions if you either live in the UK or are an exp-pat.
Please sign and/or pass on if you are able to as a minimum of 200 signatures are needed to trigger a response from the Prime Minister.

RSPCA EXPOSED, THE REAL REASON THEY RAIDED ROSEDENE KENNELS

TO TAKE OUT THE COMPETITION

DUDLEY Council is urging dog owners to ensure their animals are safe after collecting more than 500 pets in one year. Since the authority took over responsibility for the collection of stray dogs from police in April 2008 they have reunited 162 animals with their owners while the rest were sent to new homes.
Councillor David Stanley, cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “It is very sad that some dogs do end up wandering the streets for various reasons, and it is important that as a council we deal with this problem as efficiently and kindly as possible.
“Dog owners also have a responsibility to look after their dogs and to make sure they aren't a nuisance or a hazard to others.”
If people find they are unable to cope with their pets they should take them to a local animal rescue centre or contact the RSPCA.
Stray dogs rescued by the council are taken to Rosedene Animal Rescue Centre, Walsall, where every effort is made to rehome them.

RSPCA SECURITY LAPSE POSES DANGER TO THE PUBLIC

WE ASK NORTH WALES POLICE

How were barbiturates (a Class A or Class B drug) in the possession of an RSPCA Inspector?
How can a charity worker, an ordinary member of the public, acquire illegal, highly addictive and dangerous drugs?
Why was live ammunition left unsecured?
When will the RSPCA be brought to account for their illegal actions?

Police have issued an urgent appeal for information after powerful medicine and bullets were stolen in a house burglary in north Wales.

They said the break-in happened at the home of an RSPCA worker in Llangernyw, Abergele, Conwy on Saturday.
As well as personal items like bank cards, a metal box containing two glass bottles of the medicine Pentbarbitone Sodium and bullets was stolen.
Officers said they are concerned where these items are.
The robbery took place sometime between 1230 GMT and 1830 GMT on Saturday.
North Wales Police said anyone who witnessed any suspicious vehicles or suspicious behaviour in the Llangernyw area should come forward.
Anyone with information should contact officers at St Asaph on 101, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0-845 607 1002 (English line), or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/8477576.stm

RSPCA AND POLICE RAID BOARDING KENNELS WITH 50 OFFICERS

TAKING OUT THE COMPETITION AND ABUSING TAXPAYERS MONEY, WHERE ARE THE POLICE WHEN PEOPLE ARE BEING MUGGED, ROBBED AND RAPED?

RAIDING DECENT KENNELS WITH THE RSPCA!

A BOARDING kennels in the Black Country was dramatically shut down by police and the RSPCA after complaints about conditions at the facility.
Animal welfare inspectors and police with a warrant raided the Rosedene Boarding Kennels, Radley Road, Walsall, on Thursday at 9.00am.
Witnesses said around 50 officers entered the site, near Rushall, before moving staff away.
In total 59 dogs were found at the kennels however three were put down by vets on site.
The other 56 were taken into RSPCA care as officers remained on site until around 9.00pm.
Judith Haw, RSPCA spokeswoman said: “56 dogs were removed from the premises by the RSPCA due to the conditions at the kennels. Three dogs were euthanised at the scene on veterinary advice. All of the dogs, which have been signed over by the RSPCA, are now in animal centres for re-homing.”
She added an investigation had been launched into the state of the kennels which took in stray dogs from Walsall, Dudley and Sandwell to be re-homed.
A spokesman from West Midlands Police said the operation had been conducted on a warrant under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
He said the organisations had acted after information from the community raised concerns about animal welfare. One witness, who asked not to be named, “Staff were not allowed on the premises, they shut it down and all the dogs have gone. Three were put down there.”
She named three put down by vets as Diesel, Stocking and Clarke before adding: “The people there do a lot to save those dogs lives.”
Edith Palmer, 61, who also lives nearby and owns two dogs, said she thought the kennels had been open for around 20 years. She added: “I’m really shocked. I always thought it was good up there. I’ve only ever been up there once. Some people walk dogs from the centre up here, but that’s all I know.”

NOW THE RSPCA ARE FORCING ENTRY INTO PRIVATE PROPERTY

AND NO ONE REGULATES THEM!

A couple have admitted causing the deaths of three kittens which they abandoned at their Bradford home.

Neil Binner-Miller, 26, and Helen Dootson-Sharman, 19, both of Hart Street, Great Horton, also pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to two cats and a dog by failing to provide them with an adequate diet.
The animals, which belonged to Dootson-Sharman, were found last June after an RSPCA officer forced her way into the couple’s former home in Beecroft Walk, Allerton, Bradford magistrates heard today.
Nigel Monaghan, prosecuting on behalf of the RSPCA, said Binner-Miller had left the flat a week before the animals were found and Dootson-Sharman was not living there at the time.
He said: “The inspector found that the flat was in a terrible condition. She described the smell as being over powering. No food or water was provided. She found all of the animals in a very thin bodily condition. All were covered with fleas.”
A black cat, the mother of the kittens, had lost almost a third of her body weight while the dog, a German Shepherd, was 21 per cent under weight, the court was told.
Tests carried out on the surviving animals showed there was no other cause for their weight loss other than a lack of food and all three gained weight rapidly after being taken into RSPCA care, Mr Monaghan said.
He added: “Had the RSPCA not been contacted by a member of the public and not forced entry into the property one can only wonder what would have happened to the other animals.”
Mitigating on behalf of Dootson-Sharman, who also admitted an additional charge of failing to provide a suitable living environment for the animals, solicitor Stuart Carter said his client suffered from learning disabilities and had experienced problems in the past.

RSPCA FAIL TO PROSECUTE RABBIT KILLER

DESPITE STRANGLING 2 RABBITS AND FINISHING THEM OFF WITH A BRICK, THE RSPCA TAKE NO ACTION FOR CRUELTY.

WELL COMPARED TO BOLT GUNS ITS MORE HUMANE

A man who strangled his ex-girlfriend's pet rabbits in a jealous rage has been given an 18-month supervision order.Clifford Whitbread, 31, could not accept his relationship with Sarah Roberts was over, Burnley magistrates heard. He killed the two rabbits while Miss Roberts slept in September last year. She woke to find them motionless with blood on their faces.
Whitbread pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage and possessing drugs.
Miss Roberts found the hutch had been disturbed and blood on the ground.
Whitbread was seen hitting one of the rabbits with a brick to "finish it off" by a neighbour's two grandchildren, Burnley magistrates heard.
After finding her dead pets, Miss Roberts texted the defendant: "You've killed the rabbits!"
In a statement, Miss Roberts said Whitbread's actions were an attempt to harm her psychologically.
Graeme Tindall, defending, said Whitbread was "deeply ashamed" of his behaviour.
Whitbread, was told to attend an alcohol awareness course as part of his supervision order.
He was also ordered to pay £65 costs.
A post-mortem examination carried out by the RSPCA on the rabbits found no conclusive evidence of "unnecessary suffering".

RSPCA PROSECUTE OVER 60 CHILDREN PER YEAR

CHILDREN OF FARMERS, KENNEL AND PET SHOP OWNERS REGULARLY PROSECUTED BY RSPCA

WHEN WILL THIS INSANITY END?

Sir, Edward Nugee, QC, claims in his letter (Jan 8) that “it is a fundamental right of a citizen of this country to institute a private prosecution of a criminal offence”. To support his argument, he says that “the RSPCA frequently institutes private prosecutions”.

The example he gives is a weak one. The RSPCA’s private prosecutions, and its prosecution of children and the vulnerable in particular, have long been a vexed issue. The charity prosecutes many hundreds of people, including about 60 children, a year. These people do not benefit from statutory safeguards that protect the vulnerable and children in CPS cases.
Last November, at a lecture delivered in Middle Temple Hall, Bernard Richmond, QC, proposed that it was always wrong for children to be privately prosecuted. Of the hundreds of advocates present, not one disagreed with him. Last September, the BBC radio programme File on 4 focused on RSPCA private prosecutions and, in particular, its prosecution of vulnerable people and children.
Lord Bingham, in Jones v Whalley \ UKHL 41 held that “it is hard to regard \ as an important constitutional safeguard when \ are all but unknown in Scotland.”
It is hard to disagree with Lord Bingham on this issue. I have defended hundreds of farmers, huntsmen and kennels in non-CPS prosecutions. My view, for what it is worth, is that the sooner private prosecutions become “all but unknown” in England and Wales, the better.

NEW ANTI RSPCA BLOG STARTS WITH REAL TRUTHS

Has anybody noticed that even the RSPCA appears to be subtly abandoning the Labour Party. Cameron and his buddies all regularly "riding to hounds", it is interesting to note that even John Rolls has been saying that "the Hunting Act has never been about stopping the activity of riding to hounds" . The Political Animal Lobby - a partnership between the RSPCA and IFAW - gave over £1,000,000 to the Labour Party to ban hunting and "riding to hounds". The gift was arranged by the Campaign to Protect Hunted Animals (CPHA), another partnership between IFAW, the RSPCA and LACS. Perhaps the Labour Party can't even rely on this type of cash come June, when the Faustian bargain must end?
